This doesn't seem like much but I am working on Clue #2. All cut let the sewing begin! I think I will also start to cut out #3.0

I have decided to go with my passion and open my blog to quilting! My first passion is to go with what you have! To have your best you must take good care of what you have! Being a good keeper of what you have will lead to value and longevity! Value isn’t always dollar signs but lends itself to something that can only be achieved with longevity!
Bonnie Hunter has found the value in her life by picking up the remnants or scraps from other people’s lives! By bringing age back to life in a new form! For the value she has found in scraps has given them longevity! This year of 2019 I have chosen to participate in Bonnie’s Mystery Good Fortune Quilt!! I am beyond excited!
I started out behind everyone but plans are to catch up by the release of Clue 3! We started out with Clue 1 and the 4-patch! Colors are lights and red! I am determined to follow Bonnie’s suggestions to the “T”! (1) Lined up my cut off credit card for my perfect 1/4 inch seam. (2) Made sure to line up my ruler properly when cutting my fabric. Placing the edge even with inside edge of the fabric, not on the outside edge! (3) To achieve variety, use shorter strips! I used strips about 9 - 12 inches and got a nice assortment!
Clue 1 is complete and I have started Clue 2. Bonus with this clue is I can use strips from Scrap Users System. So it is kind of like getting a head start!

Bill's Retirement
We are geared up for the big day now. We have figured in the vacation time and have his last day of work as September 17 making his last day of employment September 30. He is getting very excited and nervous at the same time.
You have to worry whether you will have enough money. I have told him we will just make it with what we have. And if we don't have it we say no. We have enough money to make us happy but I am sure some others will suffer with the sacrifices they have to make because we say no.
